Jeffrey S. Wolfsberg
Jeff is an experienced healthcare executive with 25 years in progressive leadership roles within the mental health, peer support, addiction recovery, and public health sectors. A skilled leader in diverse settings, including health plan administration, peer and recovery support organizations, acute medical facilities, community-based behavioral health programs, and psychiatric services.
His professional journey has been deeply rooted in addressing addiction and mental health challenges. Having personally confronted mental health issues and navigated his own journey through addiction, he is intimately aware of the profound impact these struggles can have on individuals, families, businesses, and communities. His commitment extends beyond professional realms, driven by a personal mission to destigmatize recovery and foster supportive environments in businesses, organizations, and communities for individuals both seeking and sustaining recovery.

Recovery Friendly Advisor
Christiana Otele
Prior to being a Recovery Friendly Workplace Advisor, Christiana held roles as a Case Manager, Case Investigator, Mental Health Specialist, and a Behavioral Health Aide supporting individuals in the state of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Her past involvement with diverse resource-challenged communities spurred her determination to actively share her own privileges. The initiative at hand represents one such avenue she seizes.
Since joining as an RFW Advisor, her grasp of the concept of recovery has deepened. Serving as a bridge between employers and the community has proven to be the most gratifying aspect of her journey. Christiana is a staunch advocate for equality, firmly believing that an individual's job should not be jeopardized solely due to a history of substance misuse. This undertaking educates employers on aiding those in recovery and affected by substance misuse as well as mental health challenges. Christiana's commitment to being an agent of change is what propels her involvement in this initiative, enabling her to tangibly contribute to the transformation she envisions.

Karissa Briceno
Karissa Briceno joins the Recovery Friendly Workplace team with a deep appreciation for the power of opportunity, community, and second chances. Having faced a challenging past and overcome many obstacles along the way, Karissa knows firsthand how the right resources and people can help change the direction of someone’s life.
Throughout her journey, she has been fortunate to find programs and opportunities that helped lift her up—from Community Kitchen, to building a career and becoming a licensed Real Estate Salesperson, to now joining a statewide initiative she truly believes in. Karissa is incredibly grateful to be part of the Recovery Friendly Workplace team and sees this role as an opportunity to give back, connect others with resources, and help create the same kinds of opportunities that made such a difference in her own life.
