Recovery by Region

Recovery support looks different from one place to the next, shaped by local voices, lived experience, and community priorities. Each region brings its own strengths, challenges, and perspectives, which influence how resources are developed and delivered. Regional efforts complement clinical treatment by offering opportunities for peer connection, skill-building, education, and recovery-focused activities that meet people where they are. They also create pathways for leadership, engagement, and community involvement, helping individuals and families build the relationships, skills, and resources known as recovery capital that sustain long-term wellness. By grounding support in local context, regional resources ensure that every community has access to programs, initiatives, and partnerships that are responsive, inclusive, and tailored to real needs.

The Providence Metro Region stands as the epicenter of Rhode Island’s recovery ecosystem.
