Adriana Briceno
Recovery Housing Contract Monitor
Adriana Briceno has served the State of Rhode Island since 2013, building a career rooted in helping people access the care, resources, and opportunities they need. She began in direct care with BHDDH, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, and later served as an Eligibility Technician with the Department of Human Services. Adriana returned to BHDDH to expand her work into public health promotion and prevention grant administration. Today, she oversees recovery housing and 942 STOP grants, as well as RICARES Certification, Training, and Quality Assurance. She works closely with providers to support program delivery, monitor contracts, and uphold standards that help strengthen recovery services across Rhode Island.
Adriana takes pride in building strong relationships with the people and organizations she serves. She brings care and attention to detail to her work, whether she is helping a provider navigate requirements, preparing for a site visit, or improving a process. Her goal is to help providers succeed so they can offer dependable, high-quality support to Rhode Islanders in recovery. She is dedicated to making the path to recovery easier to navigate, so more people can find the support they need when they need it.
