POSITION TITLE: Mobile Response Clinician, Behavioral Health

PROGRAM: Behavioral Health 

FULL TIME Full Time

SALARY RANGE: $70,000.00 - $91,036.00 Salary

Mobile Crisis Clinicians will earn an additional $500.00 monthly incentive!

Summary: The Clinician will work collaboratively as part of the Emergency Services Team to support the safety, recovery, and overall wellness of clients. The Clinician will conduct emergency assessments; which include validated screening tools in the client’s home, the community, or office and connect them with an appropriate treatment. Clinician’s work on a multidisciplinary team which include case managers, supervisory support and medication providers. Mobile Response Clinician’s may work with children up to 18 years old within our Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) program which offers stabilization support for up to 30 days. Clinicians may also evaluate adults in crisis, within the Providence area, or other areas of RI for FSRI clients who are open to CCBHC services.

Specific Duties/ Responsibilities:

· Responds to crisis calls within 1 hour of referral

· Conducts a clinical assessment and safety plan utilizing multiple standardized tools for assigned patients and their families

· Complete an individual/family safety plan that addresses identified needs

· Participate in triage protocols to ensure client is appropriately attributed and documented in the corresponding EMR and tracking systems

· Link and refer individuals/families to appropriate culturally relevant resources and informal supports within their community when that is appropriate and sufficient to meet their need(s)

· Provide crisis intervention evaluation/ or services with and on behalf of, patient/family as need

· Provide clinical consultation to medical staff and colleagues

· Complete all required documentation via agency EMR and other sources

· Complete data collection and data entry as required by multiple funding sources

· Complete training required for QMHP status

· Participate in internal and external meetings as needed

· Build and maintain positive, working relationships with community organizations and providers educating them about MRSS and other services that FSRI provides

· Complete administrative documentation (programmatic reports, time sheets, mileage, etc.) in a timely manner

· Complies with FSRI policies, including those relating to HIPAA and CCBHC

· Complete all required documentation within required timeframes

· Proficient in using an electronic health record as well as project-specific software

· Maintain confidentiality of clients at all times

· Attend and participate in all required program and agency trainings

· Approaches all work through a trauma and diversity and inclusion lens

· Participates in the Agency’s on-call emergency services provision as scheduled including but not limited to after hours, holidays and weekends

· Performs additional responsibilities consistent with Agency needs, defined in consultation with supervisor(s)

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required

· Required to be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor

· Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs

· Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated

· Flexible schedule with some evenings

· Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must

· Ability to work independently and part of a team

· Eligible for QMHP Certification

· Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.

· Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
