Data Entry Intern
The student will support data work at Project Weber/RENEW, a local harm reduction
organization. Data will include information about service deliveries, support services,
and intake information.
The student will enter data from paper records into the Project Weber/RENEW tracking
system, thus directly contributing to the organization’s ability to understand and focus
programming in areas of greatest priority. This is incredibly important for the
organization to track success. The student will get hands-on experience in data at a
local non-profit, learning more about innovative overdose efforts in Providence. There
may be opportunities to get involved in other efforts.
Data entry will be conducted on-site at Project Weber/RENEW in Providence. The
location is accessible via the RIPTA 1 bus which leaves from the Brown campus and for free to Brown University students. This is an unpaid, volunteer-based opportunity.
We are looking for students who can take at least one 4-hour shift per week on site. The hours can be flexible but need to be between 9:30-4:30pm, on a weekday. In a position like this, we prioritize open communication, consistency, and reliability.
People who are interested should email info@weberrenew.org with their name, contact
info, and availability.
