Position Summary:

 

The Office Coordinator is a 40 hours/week, full-time position:

  • The Office Coordinator oversees daily administrative operations of the ASU, provides administrative support to the ASU Operations, Clinical, and Nursing Directors, and supports interdepartmental and programmatic efforts across the agency.  
           
  • The Office Coordinator provides direct oversight to behavioral health workers, including ongoing group and individual supervision and training. They will also play a supportive role in managing all staff by promoting team cohesion and fielding feedback.

     
  • Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

o   Inventory management, supply purchasing, petty cash, and receiving orders

o   Coordinating with outside vendors (e.g. biowaste, shredder, food vendor etc.)

o   Managing paperwork, client records, and ensuring accuracy and completion in the electronic medical record

o   Data analysis and reporting (e.g. BHOLD, BH open beds, Narcan distribution)

o   Fielding client and staff feedback

o   Coordinating with other CCA departments in service of daily operations (facilities, IT, EHR, etc.)

o   Facilities management, maintenance requests, monthly safety inspections, and fire drills

o   Coordinating admission and discharge procedures as needed

o   Answering phones

o   Other administrative tasks as identified

 

The position requires administrative experience, knowledge of office management procedures, strong organizational skills, and strong technological skills.  Excellent time management skills are essential.  At least two years of experience in community mental health and/or rehabilitation field preferred, including working knowledge of health information, and related policy, procedures, and regulations. 

 

Education/Licensing Requirements:   Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
