Position Summary:  Provides dynamic leadership to inspire staff in the Healing Division to implement high-quality and impactful programming through FSRI’s intensive community services programs for children and youth. Provides clinical and administrative oversight of assigned staff and programmatic initiatives with a focus on trauma-informed care. Assists the Department Director with strategic direction and administration of the intensive community service programs for children, youth and their families. Responsible for reaching target budgetary and programmatic goals of assigned programs, ensuring best practice standards, and management of assigned contracts. Participates in the Agency’s leadership team and subcommittees as scheduled. Approaches all work through a trauma and diversity and inclusion lens.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required

  • Required to be independently licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor

  • Experience delivering and overseeing trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments and practices required 

  • Prior clinical and/or administrative oversight experience strongly preferred   

  • Experience providing training and consultation related to clinical interventions, trauma-focused evidence-based practices, and overall mental health education strongly desired   

  • Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs

  • Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated

  • Flexible schedule with some evenings 

  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team    

  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
