Position Overview The division of Enrollment Management is responsible for the College’s student body by managing recruitment, admissions, financial aid, registration and retention to meet the institution’s enrollment and strategic goals.
Primary Purpose The Enrollment Data Specialist is responsible for managing and-optimizing the Enrollment Management division’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system – SLATE and the Student Information System (SIS) – PeopleSoft. The Enrollment Data Specialist will ensure accurate data entry, usage, and integration of information at the both the record and system level and use the information to streamline admissions processes and support strategic decision­ making by contributing to comprehensive data management, analysis, and reporting. The Enrollment Data Specialist will report directly to the Dean of Enrollment Management and play a critical role in the division’s efforts to grow new student enrollment.
Essential Duties
  • CRM Management: Assist with the administration, configuration, and maintenance of SLATE CRM, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • SIS Administration: Collaborate on and monitor the integration between SLATE CRM and the College’s SIS – PeopleSoft to maintain data accuracy, student records and reporting.
  • Data Integrity: Collaborate on implementing and enforcing data quality standards, perform regular audits, and resolve data discrepancies promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into admissions trends, applicant demographics, yield rates, and other key new student enrollment metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with the enrollment staff and other College offices to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies, from data entry, communications, to the complete student life-cycle.
  • Training and Support: Assist with training and supporting the enrollment staff on CRM and SIS usage, as well as colleagues across campus, troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for system enhancement to support new student enrollment and student success.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with institutional policies (data governance), data privacy regulations, and best practices in admissions data management.

 

Occasional Duties Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of Enrollment Management.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

  • Proven experience (1 + years) implementing, managing, and integrating CRM systems, preferably SLA’IE, and SIS systems, preferably PeopleSoft, in an Admissions Office.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment..
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with higher education admissions processes and regulations is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of Slate CRM, Image Now (document imaging software), PeopleSoft, business intelligence and analytics software and MS professional software packages are beneficial as well as the ability to leverage CRM technology to identify and implement efficiencies and measure outcomes.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (fluent in speaking and writing).
