POSITION TITLE: Speech Language Pathologist 

PROGRAM: Early Intervention 

Independent Contractor: Independent Contractor

Summary: To provide speech/language pathology services to infants and toddlers including screenings, evaluations, assessments and treatment services in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Rhode Island Early Intervention Certification Standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of Masters Degree from a Board approved school of Speech Language Pathology and meet requirements for licensing by the RI Department of Health.

Minimum of one year experience working with infants and toddlers in natural environments.

Current RI drivers license.

Current auto insurance.

Current CPR/First Aid Certification

Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.

Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.

Continuing Education Requirements:

As needed to maintain Speech Language Pathologist licensure and meet personnel qualifications in the Rhode Island Early Intervention Certification Standards.

Completion of Introduction to Early Intervention course.

Participation in semi-annual and annual employee performance review process, including development and review of professional/program goals and objectives.

Maintain CPR/First Aid

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 20lbs.

Required to provide own transportation.
