Direct Support Professional

Position Overview

Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff members work towards empowering participants by providing support, education, and self-advocacy in their respective homes and communities.

Main Duties

• Assisting individuals in all aspects of daily living
• Assisting individuals in community integration and activity participation
• Implementation of Lifestyle and Behavioral Plans of Care
• Following nursing directives
• Daily documentation on the progress and status of the supported individuals

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

Locations

Shifts available in Barrington, Bristol, Cranston, East Providence, Middletown, Riverside, Tiverton, and Warren

Shift Offerings

• Full Time (35 hours or more)
• Part Time (Less than 35 hours)
• Sub Status (Fill in shifts, when necessary)
• First Shift (Generally 7:00 am to 3:00 pm)
• Second Shift (Generally 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm)
• Overnight Shift (Generally 11:00 pm to 7:00 am)
