Make a difference in the lives of patients:

As a Dental Receptionist, you will work perform a number of administrative and operational tasks in support of the Dental Clinic – both office-based and community-based. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures for assigned location.
  • Interact with patients in a professional manner – check in, obtain/update demographic/dental insurance information for all patients, schedule new appointments, collect co-payment/deductible payments, etc.
  • Data enter all demographic and billing information into Dental Office’s electronic medical record
  • Perform insurance verification checks for all patients scheduled for the current and/or following day.
  • Inform patients of financial responsibilities. Provide standard payment options based on approved policies.
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and inform Dental Manager of replacement needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Dental Manager and/or Dentist.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong Computer knowledge required.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Six months to one year experience working in an office setting or participation in a Dental Receptionist/Office Training Program is preferred.
