Medical Assistant

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Medical Assistant to join our Family Health Center in Newport, RI.

Our Health Center provides care and treatment to infants, children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families. Patients’ needs are quickly assessed when they walk through our doors and connections are made with the right services.

Qualifications:

• Medical assistant training from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required; bi-lingual capability (Spanish/English, a plus)

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), however, will receive training in EBCAP's EMR, which is NextGen.
