CCBHC Mobile Crisis Worker Per-Diem/On-Call

Community Care Alliance is looking for a per-diem staff to work in a new cutting edge program responding to crisis in the surrounding community. In this position you would have the opportunity to be working with an innovative team including, the program director, law enforcement and first responders, clinicians, case managers, peer specialists and community mental health workers. This type of community based crisis triage is the new frontier of responding to mental health and substance use crises. This rapid response team would be an elite team of individuals working collaboratively with the intent to manage a crisis in the community, provide rapid resources for stabilization and to develop community connections with the intent to decrease the need for an emergency room intervention and an inpatient admission.

Flexible schedule, days, may include evenings and some weekend coverage.

This is a 24/7 program. As such, shifts will be offered for multiple days and times. Certain shifts will be based in our Woonsocket location, with mobile outreach: rate of pay highly competitive and is commensurate to skills and experience.

Overnight shifts are on-call: these will be paid at a flat hourly rate of $8/hour for time spent remote, plus a fee of $75-100 per community-based assessment based on credentials. Per Diem applicants should be available for at least 2 shifts per month.

This schedule is desirable for professionals looking for supplementary income.

Education/Skills:
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Have successfully completed and passed a co- occurring Peer Specialist Training program endorsed by BHDDH and possess or be eligible for the IC/RC state certification.
-Additionally, the candidate must have a recent work or volunteer history work experience for at least 12 months within the past 3 years.
-An ideal candidate is someone who can honor a trauma-informed, client-centered care perspective and be accepting of diversity of perspectives and backgrounds.
-A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
