Description

The Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) is an innovative, trauma-informed hospital diversion and step-down behavioral health program. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative individual to lead its treatment and administrative operations.
 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

-Clinical supervision and training to members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
-High level case consultation, care coordination, and treatment planning with unit prescribers and external providers.
Outreach and advocacy.
-Curriculum design and implementation.
-Scheduling, with support from the leadership team.
-Hiring and management of personnel issues.
-Strategic planning, data and outcomes analysis, PQI.
-This position requires a high degree of flexibility, initiative, and willingness to learn; demonstrated skills in mentorship, supervision, and teaching; and the ability to model client-centered, trauma-informed care through an anti-oppression lens. You will collaborate closely with programs throughout our agency. The ideal candidate understands the mission and role of community mental health centers and has experience in acute and crisis settings. You will receive ongoing training, supervision, and support from leadership across the agency.
 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
Minimum of a master’s degree in a human service-related field; independent licensure preferred.

Program development and training experience preferred. 

Must have at least 5 years’ experience providing direct services to clients experiencing behavioral health issues. Emergency services, mobile crisis, and/or inpatient psychiatric experience helpful.
 

Crisis intervention skills required. Proficient computer skills, including WORD and EXCEL.
