The Harm Reduction Nursing Lead is a professional nurse who functions as both an administrative and clinical leader within a small overdose prevention center. Focused practice to ensure patient-focused care consistent with the overdose-prevention center mission, VICTA goals, policies, protocols & procedures, regulatory requirements, and established standards of practice. The primary responsibilities include the coordination of patient care, clinical nursing care, direct supervision, and scheduling. The Nursing Manager provides skilled nursing services to substance use disorder patients and their significant support systems. Ongoing assessment, intakes, evaluations, triage, teaching, inductions, stabilizations, and monitoring of patients adjacent to an OPC setting. Provide primary care of patients within the clinic as well as support and services to patients from other settings referred to program for stabilization and assessment. Collaborates with team members, clinic settings at VICTA and outside referral sites, works with providers from addiction settings in assisting patients and supporting their referral needs.

Position is for 0.70 FTE
